Refund and Returns policy

Return Policy

Our refund and returns policy lasts 7 days. If 7 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, including the original packaging. Certain types of goods are exempt from being returned.

Non-returnable items include:

  • Certain items

To complete your return, a receipt or proof of purchase is required. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Partial Refunds
Only partial refunds may be granted in certain situations, such as:

  • Books with obvious signs of use.
  • Items not in their original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Items returned more than 15 days after delivery.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original payment method within next 7 days.

Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received a refund yet, please:

  1. Check your bank account again.
  2. Contact your credit card company, as processing times may vary.
  3. Contact your bank, as it often takes time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at returns@zakara.in.

Sale Items
Only regular-priced items are eligible for a refund. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. To exchange for the same item, email us at returns@zakara.in and mail your item to:

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once we receive the returned item, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift, we will send a refund to the gift giver.

Please note that you are responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on your location, the time it may take for an exchanged product to reach you may vary.
